Casa Bueras, Santiago, Chile
The Casa Bueras is a boutique hotel in the heart of Santiago's up-and-coming district of Lastarria, offers just 14 rooms and suites on three floors and the perfect amount of amenities for your stay in the capital.
The original residence, built in 1927, has been lovingly renovated, and converted into a superb boutique hotel with a focus on personalised service. Surrounded by museums, galleries, shops and innovative restaurants, it is only ten minutes' walk from the downtown area of the city.
Rooms, except for the compact superior category, are spacious. All contain original artefacts of the house and are equipped with air conditioning and heating, a safe, LED cable TV, iPod docking station, cordless phone, free Wi-Fi and a hairdryer.
Facilities include a simple, but lovely, in-house restaurant, a small outdoor swimming pool and seating area, small gym, massage room, garden terrace, concierge service, 24 hour snack service, bar/lounge and cosy private areas that help make guests feel so at home. An advantage is an extra shower room; which is useful for those checking out in the morning but flying late.
