Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Santiago.

  • Arrival transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the afternoon unwinding after your journey, with time to relax before enjoying dinner in Santiago.

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Natales, where you'll be met and taken to your lodge in Torres del Paine National Park.

  • Start the W Trek by hiking the French Valley before camping outside a mountain refuge.

  • Hike to the Gray Glacier, where you'll board a boat to sail across the Gray Lake, and back to your lodge.

  • For your final day in the park, you'll hike to the base of the Towers in Torres del Paine. This iconic trek is hard work, but the view (and sense of achievement) at the top is well worth it, and you'll be able to celebrate your success at the end of the day.

  • Leaving the park, you'll travel to Puerto Natales to board the Skorpios III vessel and set sail across the Angostura Kirke channel.

  • Cruise north through the scenic Pitt Canal and into the dramatic Guilard Fjord, where, weather and tidal conditions permitting, you may have the opportunity to go ashore and explore the area surrounding Guilard Glacier. Later, continue to Amalia Glacier, where excursions by boat offer a closer look at this ever-changing glacial landscape before sailing onward through Patagonia's remote waterways.

  • Continue your journey through the fjords of Patagonia aboard the Skorpios III, with guided excursions to some of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field’s most remote and rarely visited glaciers. Marvel at towering ice formations and pristine wilderness in one of the world's most natural settings.

  • Today offers further opportunities to experience the scenery of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Depending on conditions, excursions may include guided walks ashore through native forest and glacial landscapes, visits to glacier viewpoints, and exploration of secluded fjords where waterfalls, towering peaks and ancient ice dominate the landscape.

  • Disembark the vessel in Puerto Natales and travel to the airport for a flight to Santiago to connect with your onward flight.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
