Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Santiago.

Upon arrival, be greeted at the airport and taken to your hotel in the lovely area of Lastarria. Enjoy a walking tour in the afternoon.

Head back to the airport this morning with your private driver for your flight to Calama, where you’ll be met and taken to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Spend the afternoon discovering this charming desert town at your own pace.

Take a guided tour of the desert’s altiplanic lagoons and salt flats, home to flamingos and other birdlife like the puna plover. You might also see geysers in action.

Today, you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the border. You'll cross into Bolivia, passing through the stunning Eduardo Avaroa National Park, home to Laguna Colorada, Verde, and the Dali Desert. You'll spend the night on the shores of Laguna Hedionda with pats of flamingos.

You'll continue north today through the Altiplano, stopping at places such as the Rock Valley, Siloli Desert, and Tree Rock. Cross over the salt flat to enjoy the sunset at the camper.

Spend the day with your guide today — you'll be able to explore the salt flats and small village of Jirira with them.

Cross the mountain ranges to Tupiza and enjoy a stay in a basic and comfortable hotel.

Early start to head to the Argentine border. You'll cross by foot and meet your Argentine guide there. Make your way to the impressive El Hornocal before spending the night in Tilcara.

Be driven through the Humahuaca Gorge to Purmamarca, where you’ll have the day to explore a region rich in geological wonders. Expect to see dramatic rock formations and striking desert landscapes that showcase nature’s artistry.

Transfer to Salta. En route, you'll visit the Argentine equivalent of Uyuni, the Salinas Grandes, where you'll explore the salt flats before continuing to Salta.

Drive through the stunning Calchaquí Valleys to the picturesque town of Cafayate. This is the main wine-producing area in the northwest, and as such, we've arranged two tastings today.

Fly to Buenos Aires today and have the evening to yourselves. After traversing the northwest, we recommend a relaxing night enjoying steak, empanadas, pasta, or any of the cuisines Argentina is famous for, along with a bottle of wine.
