On arrival in Buenos Aires, you'll be met by your driver and guide and taken to Palo Santo Hotel, located in the leafy district of Palermo, and your home for the next few days.
-
Enjoy an introduction to Buenos Aires as you visit Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, Puerto Madero, and elegant Recoleta, home to the city's famous cemetery and the tomb of Evita Perón. This guided experience offers an overview of the city's history, architecture, and most notable landmarks.
-
You'll be taken to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in Argentina and the gateway to Tierra del Fuego.
-
You'll be transferred from your hotel to the cruise terminal, ready to embark on your voyage through Patagonia's fjords, glaciers, and remote landscapes. Once onboard, settle into your stateroom and take time to explore the ship before your journey begins.
-
Sail through Wulaia Bay, a remote corner of Patagonia once visited by explorers, including Charles Darwin. Here, forested slopes, rugged peaks, and remote waterways combine to showcase the raw beauty of the region.
-
Cruise past Porter Glacier, where a vast wall of ice descends from the mountains into the surrounding fjords. Its bright blue hues and rugged setting highlight the raw beauty of Patagonia's southern reaches.
-
Named for the Andean condors often seen soaring overhead, Condor Glacier is framed by steep cliffs and untouched wilderness. The dramatic scenery provides a memorable glimpse of this remote corner of South America.
-
Your voyage ends in Punta Arenas, the largest city in Chilean Patagonia and gateway to the Strait of Magellan and Antarctica. Here, you'll disembark your ship and continue to Estancia Cerro Guido, a historic working ranch, where you'll spend the next three nights.
-
You have the day at leisure to discover the landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park. You may like to visit Lago Grey, where blue icebergs drift across the lake below the glacier, or join a scenic tour that takes in the region's mountains, lakes, and wildlife.
-
With another day at leisure, you may wish to hike to Mirador Las Torres, which offers sweeping views of three granite spires overlooking a turquoise glacial lake, or discover the surrounding countryside on horseback.
