What our specialists say...

This is an adventurous but thoroughly rewarding journey that begins with the deserts of western China before crossing the legendary high passes of the Tian Shan mountains into Central Asia. Following the trading routes of the ancient Silk Route on through Kyrgyzstan and neighbouring Uzbekistan this trip will take you through some stunning desert, mountain and pasture scenery, incredible architecture and fascinating cultures. Three weeks travelling in this remote part of the world will give you a great feel for this little understood region as well as an in-depth experience of the travails of those ancient traders.
