Cocora Valley, ColombiaThis lush, green region not only has a temperate climate for travellers but is also home to the snow capped peaks of the Parque National Los Nevados.

It has three main cities; Manizales, Pereira and Armenia. None of them are particularly beautiful but provide a good base from which to visit the lush green valleys and spectacular Andean peaks.
