A small family run pension-style hotel on the south coast of Huahine, on a white sand beach at the heart of Avea Bay.
The 32 clean and simple rooms at the Hotel Le Mahana Huahine are only a short distance from the lagoon. The Deluxe Garden and Beach Bungalows have a small private garden and a bathroom open to the skies whilst the Superior Bungalows are recently renovated and more comfortable. Its small Garden Rooms are darker and more shaded than the bungalows. All rooms have ceiling fans but the property is not air conditioned. There are two restaurants: an informal beachside grill and pizza café, which is open for lunch, and a French and Tahitian dining area open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
