Keikahanui Pearl Lodge

Located 50 steps above a quiet, black sand beach, this wonderful small lodge overlooks the bay and village of Taiohae in the Marquesas.

Set in luscious tropical gardens, the 20 spacious air-conditioned guest bungalows share this view from sun-drenched terraces and are built from local materials and individually furnished by local artists. The restaurant opens onto the terrace and swimming pool, but here guests are encouraged to explore further, with Marquesian guides on hand to introduce the natural wonders of the region, with superb diving among manta rays, as well as the archaeological sites of an ancient culture.
