Antigua & Grenada: the beach and beyond

Today you might like to explore Nelson's Dockyard and picturesque English Harbour. Or perhaps take one of the walking trails from your hotel to a viewpoint.

Head up to Shirley Heights for panoramic views, especially on a Sunday afternoon for the regular barbecue and concert at sunset.

Relax on the beach or take a day trip over to Barbuda, Antigua's little sister and largely undeveloped island.

You'll have the day at leisure. You may wish to enjoy the complimentary non-motorised water sports, or simply relax around the pool.

Today you will be taken to the airport for your short flight to Grenada (via Barbados). You will then be transferred to Spice Island Resort where you will spend the next five nights.

Relax on beautiful Grand Anse Beach. Or, if you'd prefer to start with a little exploring, take a trip to the market at St George's, visit Westerhall rum distillery and discover the unusual underwater sculpture park.

Grenada's lush and mountainous interior is well worth discovering and there are plenty of hiking and birdwatching opportunities.

Head north to explore the fishing village of Gouyave, historic plantations and spice farms as well as remote but beautiful coastlines.

You'll spend the day at leisure. You can enjoy a range of complimentary non-motorised water sports including Hobie Cats, kayaks and paddleboards.

Today you will return to the airport before flying home.
