Hotel Palacio de Dona Leonor, Antigua, Guatemala

The Hotel Palacio de Dona Leonor has a fantastic location in the heart of Antigua, just half a block from the Cathedral and the main square.

The hotel has been completely renovated with a great deal of emphasis on preserving its colonial charm and architecture.

It has a peaceful interior courtyard with a charming fountain and 7 deluxe rooms, 3 junior suites and 2 master suites, making for a cosy, intimate atmosphere.

Each room is named after a historical figure from Antigua's past and is decorated in a different way still in keeping with the colonial theme of the hotel.

Please note the posada only offers breakfast dining but just a few feet from the hotel you will be able to find a wide variety of shops and restaurants, making this a perfect base for exploring Antigua.

There is also a lovely communal jacuzzi on site for relaxing after a day exploring the city.

    Alternative places to stay nearby

Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favourite places to stay. To help you make the right choice, we give each property a rating based on its facilities and service, but we also look for hotels with distinct character or a location that can’t be bettered.

    Experiences while staying here

The following activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences of the area where you’re staying. We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
