Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Amman. Arrive in Jordan’s capital city, Amman, where you’re met by your private driver and taken to your hotel to relax for the rest of the day after your flight.

  • Today you head out of Amman for a private tour of Jerash, a well-preserved Greco-Roman city filled with temples and colonnaded streets. In the afternoon, meet your local guide for a private tasting tour of Amman’s markets, cafés and food stalls.

  • A private driver will collect you this morning for the journey from Amman to Petra, stopping en route to view the ancient mosaics in Madaba, take in the view from Mount Nebo and tour crusader castles at Kerak and Shobak.

  • Spend the full day exploring Petra with your private local guide. You enter through the hidden canyon of the Siq before hiking to the monastery, where you should arrive well before the crowds.

  • As Petra has so much to see, you spend another full day at the site to explore on your own without a guide. You could visit the Royal Tombs or hike to the High Place of Sacrifice for impressive views down to the Treasury if you're feeling adventurous.

  • Leaving Petra, you make your way to the Dead Sea for a night of relaxation and rejuvenation within the sea’s therapeutic mud and water.

  • This morning you travel by car from the Dead Sea to Jerusalem via the Allenby Bridge border crossing. Stop to visit the site where Jesus is believed to have been baptised. In the evening, share a special Shabbat dinner with a local family.

  • Spend the morning touring Old Jerusalem, with a private guide, visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall. You can then cross over into the West Bank for a tour of Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

  • Travel north with your private driver-guide from Jerusalem to the ancient crusader city of Acre, located less than two hours away. You'll stop along the way to visit important Christian sites such as Zippori, known for being the place where the Mishna was redacted in 220 CE and the birthplace of the Virgin Mary. Next, stop at Nazareth to visit the Church and Grotto of the Annunciation. You’ll then continue to your hotel in Acre.

  • Enjoy a morning tour of Acre today, visiting the Citadel of Acre and the hidden underground tunnels of Acre’s Knights Templar. Later, head south for two nights in the buzzing metropolis of Tel Aviv.

  • Take a private walking tour of Tel Aviv, exploring the flea markets, modern museums and elegant boutiques in the city’s heart.

  • Bid farewell to Israel today as you head to the airport for your flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
