Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tel Aviv. After your flight to Tel Aviv, you will be collected and transferred to your hotel in the city.

With your private guide, visit the ancient Jaffa port and Tel Aviv’s oldest district before browsing the bustling Carmel Market for lunch. You can also stroll the tree-lined Rothschild Boulevard to admire its Bauhaus architecture and pause in one of the many cafés or restaurants.

Enjoy a day trip north to visit the remains of Herod’s port at Caesarea and the Crusader town of Acre. As well as exploring the Roman ruins and medieval citadel, you can also stop for a home-hosted lunch with a Druze family to learn about their culture and way of life.

After the short drive to Jerusalem, embark on a private tour of Old Jerusalem with your guide. Visiting sites such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall (Kotel). Look out for views of the Dome of the Rock from several points around the city. In the evening, experience the enthralling sound and light show at the Tower of David.

Explore modern Jerusalem today, visiting the Israel Museum, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial. In the afternoon, your private guide will take you to Mahane Yehuda market, giving you a chance to taste various local delicacies from the food stalls.

This morning your driver-guide will collect you and together head to the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, the natural oasis of Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, and Masada, an ancient fortified palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site revered for its mosaics. It was here that Romans laid siege to a group of 960 Jews known as the Zealots.

Head south from Jerusalem into the stark landscape of the Negev desert. Arrive at your hotel overlooking the Makhtesh Ramon erosion depression and take a scenic 4x4 ride through the makhtesh with an expert desert guide. This evening enjoy stargazing with an expert guide in the clear desert sky.
