The Costa Baja hotel is located 10 minutes drive (18km) from the centre of La Paz on a hill over-looking the ocean.
It's 115 rooms are all spacious and tastefully decorated with double beds and unusually designed showers that are placed right in the middle of the room next to the beds (with discrete frosted glass!). Toilets are enclosed by a separate door. All the rooms have air-con, wifi, T.V, telephone and hair-dryer. All rooms are the same the categories are based on the view with the standard rooms being a view of the golf course. Upgrades being pool then marina and sea-view.
There is a full holistic spa, a small artificial beach, Gary Player designed golf course, a gym, exercise pool, a lovely leisure pool and 2 restaurants - a casual option and a fine-dining option. Taxi in to town costs approximately $15 each way and the hotel runs a shuttle to town 4-5 times a day. There is complimentary valet parking. There is a minimum age of 2 years old at the hotel.
Please note there can be an occasional unpleasant smell of sulphur fumes from the nearby electrical plant drifting the hotel's way.
