Hacienda San José Cholul

The Hacienda San José Cholul is situated in the little town of Tixkokob, 45 minutes from Mérida. Once a working hacienda, it has now been renovated into a luxury hotel.

The owner of the hacienda originally began renovating haciendas in the Yucatán as a social project in order to train the local people and provide them with jobs and a means to support their families. The Hacienda San José also offers tours to explore the local area, that can be arranged upon arrival.

The 15 rooms and suites are all spacious and air-conditioned with beautiful decor. The hacienda also has a huge swimming pool filling an old storage tank, stunning gardens and delicious food.
