La Maison Bleue, Fez, Morocco

La Maison Bleue is an authentic Moorish residence in the centre of the ancient city, which is owned and managed by the Abbadi family who still live in a part of the original house. It is mainly decorated in blue mosaic, white walls and features some wonderful original cedar doors and stunning glass windows. There are five suites and one standard room, each with double bed, bathroom with hair-dryer, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar and phone.

Other features of La Maison Bleue include a delightful atrium, a reading room and a rooftop terrace with superb views of the entire medina. This riad does not have a pool or spa, however guests are very welcome to use the facilities at their sister hotel Riad Maison Bleue, which offers a hammam, gym and range of beauty treatments. La Maison Bleue is also very well known for it's food, as it's one of the most popular restaurants in Fez. Here you can expect to have at least 5 courses of very traditional Moroccan food during your meal.
