Les Jardins de Skoura

This is an attractive hotel, located in the Palmeraie on the outskirts of Skoura. Traditionally built from mud and thatch to reflect the numerous kasbahs of the area, there are sitting areas on the roof to relax with a mint tea and enjoy the views out to the distant mountains.

Local staff are employed here to provide job opportunities in an underdeveloped area, allowing guests to learn more about the local culture. Each of the eight rooms and suites is unique, decorated in a mixture of French and Moroccan design, while the suites also have open fires.

The large gardens are a great place to relax, and the pool is perfect for cooling off at the end of a long day. Local ingredients are grown in the gardens and can be enjoyed in evening meals taken in the cosy restaurant area or outside under the stars.
