RV Pandaw II

Cruise Ships in Myanmar : RV Pandaw II

One of the larger vessels in Pandaw’s fleet of characterful, colonial style river cruisers, the Pandaw II still provides an intimate experience as you journey through some of Asia’s most picturesque landscapes, its shallow draught enabling you to reach remote areas that are off limits to many other vessels.

The atmosphere on board the Pandaw II is relaxed and informal. The ship is very much in the colonial style, furnished with local hardwoods, period furniture and collections of historic prints, antiques and artefacts.

The Pandaw II operates along the classic Ayeyarwady route between Yangon and Mandalay. Although plied by many cruise vessels, this glimpse of Myanmar reveals a country that is unhurried to mirror the modern world.

Pandaw also supports some local charity projects, so by travelling on board their vessels you’ll be helping the communities that line your route and may even visit some of the projects as part of your cruise.

Cabins

You’ll find 16 cabins on the upper deck and eight on the main deck, all of which offer 16 square metres of living space. They also feature air conditioning, a shower room with hot water, windows that open, an electronic safe and traditional teak ship beds. Broad promenade decks run around the outside of the accommodation, with rattan chairs and marble-top tables outside each cabin to provide each guest with a fantastic vantage point.
