The Farm at Cape Kidnappers
The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Perched on a private 6,000 acre farm and surrounded by rolling pasturelands, the Lodge at Cape Kidnappers enjoys incredible views out across the mighty Hawkes Bay. The lodge itself has been designed to resemble the buildings of a working farm, but at the same time has been expertly crafted to provide the best in luxury and comfort. The main lounges, library and snug allow guests to hide away and relax, and excellent cuisine is enjoyed in the large dining room or conservatory area.
Activities are plentiful at the lodge; on-site there is a gym, spa facility and beautiful outdoor pool area, and the impressive wine cellar houses its own tasting rooms. There are endless trails for walking or mountain biking throughout the property, or you can take a tour of the farm by 4WD or quad bike. At the end of each day, retire to your beautifully appointed, spacious room, all of which enjoy panoramic views of the dramatic scenery from a private deck.
Rooms feature modern luxuries such as flat screen TVs, DVD players and iPod docking stations, but combined with more traditional touches such as fireplaces and traditional farm decor, giving the lodge real character. The lodge itself sits just above the world-class Cape Kidnappers golf course, ranked in the world's top 30 - playing here is an essential experience for any golf fan!
