Teresa and Gary Weller travelled to The Seychelles for 16 days in March 2016, organised by Lisa
We cannot fault our honeymoon in any way, it was a dream trip come true. After planning our trip and having our lovely wedding guests, friends and family contribute on the amazing website provided by Audley, we were counting down the days. We felt the specialists gave us an amazing combination of things to do and once we arrived everything was flawless.
We are already planning when we can go back there we loved it that much!
Our trip was so wonderful and I cannot believe how easy it all was.
Shin and Mary Asami travelled to Japan for 16 days in June 2016, organised by Tesia Smith
I was very impressed with our country specialist Tesia and the organization of what she did for us. I am so appreciative of her expertise in the area and her professionalism. We had one portion of our trip with many modes of transportation and I just couldn’t believe how well done the train time schedule and tickets were. It was amazing. Our trip was so wonderful and I cannot believe how easy it all was. I explained that we wanted to do a lot of hikes and Tesia did just that, she set up the hikes and did a marvelous jobs. I cannot say enough about Audley and the philosophy behind what they do. I am telling all of my friends and I will easily be booking my next trip with Audley!
Audley work with local partners and are always trying to give an experience with the most local colour they can without breaking one’s budget.
Audley was great in helping us make the most of our time and trying to get in as much as possible as well as making the visits to the sites interesting and thoughtful. They work with local partners and are always trying to give an experience with the most local colour they can without breaking one’s budget. The person we worked with was wonderful, helpful, and did all she could to try to create a package that would make the most of our time.
Their attention to detail and responsiveness to our needs throughout the entire process was very impressive.
Audley’s Namibian country specialists, Chris and Jack, listened to our ideas, made suggestions, and together we came up with a travel plan that we felt really comfortable with. Their attention to detail and responsiveness to our needs throughout the entire process was very impressive.
We couldn't have done it without you, as there was so much to organise, which you did perfectly. We have already recommended you to friends and family.
Lu Sellers and family travelled to Costa Rica for 13 days in December 2015, organised by Vicki
Massive thanks again for organising our trip to Costa Rica. Everything from the first time we spoke was dealt with in a super efficient way, which made planning our trip so easy on my part! It was the most fantastic holiday ever, so much so that we are all still sad it's over and would certainly do it all over again. We couldn't have done it without you, as there was so much to organise, which you did perfectly. We have already recommended you to friends and family.
After a chat with Jack about my interests and available options, he organized a fabulous agenda leading to another great experience, this time in Borneo.
After being very pleased with the 20 day trip planned with Donna to Madagascar last year, I returned to them to plan a three week trip to Borneo in November 2015. After a chat with Jack about my interests and available options, he organized a fabulous agenda leading to another great experience. On return, I learned that I had to take the week between Christmas and New Year's day off, so I went back to Audley and within a week working with Claire, I had confirmation on an exciting six day trip to Nicaragua - that's service!
What impressed us most about Audley is the way they selected and liaised with local guides to provide culturally authentic and unusual experiences.
Melissa, George, Corine, and Bruce travelled to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam for 29 days in February 2016, organised by Alex P
We recently returned from a wonderful Indochina trip planned by Audley Travel. What impressed us most about Audley is the way they selected and liaised with local guides to provide culturally authentic and unusual experiences. For instance, Audley arranged for us to meet with some local fishermen in Hoi An and share time with them as they cast their nets on the local river. This was not a strictly for tourists event, and there were no others sharing this experience. In Siem Reap, our guide was able to get us into Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, and Ta Prohm Temples at dawn before the throngs of tourists appeared. It was a memorable trip.
Cambodia is a beautiful country. The people friendly, the food delicious and I would happily go back in a heartbeat.
I don't remember the first time I saw a picture of Angkor Wat, but I knew from that moment on, I needed to see it in person. After several years I was finally able to find the funds to embark on a journey of a lifetime. My first thoughts about Cambodia, apart from the heat, were how lush and green the country was. Having just come from Jordan, the contrast was startling. The Angkor Temples are some of the most amazing temples I have seen. The scale and grandeur of some of them and the intimacy of others is quite unique. The carvings are all exquisite and highly detailed and amaze me with their incredible artistry and beauty. Cambodia is a beautiful country. The people friendly, the food delicious and I would happily go back in a heartbeat.
Audley arranged 9 flights, 3 car rentals, 15 types of accommodation and more than 15 tours - and everything went smoothly.
Ivars and Rebecca Zvirbulis travelled to Australia and New Zealand for 38 days in March 2016, organised by Eric
We were very impressed when at the last moment we wanted to make a change that required Audley to make several quick alterations to our itinerary and they were able to find both air reservations and hotel accommodation for us. The most impressive part was that Audley arranged 9 flights, 3 separate car rentals, 15 types of accommodation and over 15 tours, and everything went smoothly. We can truly say that our Audley specialist Eric patiently listened to our preferences and planned the trip consistently with our interests, mixed with his thoughtful recommendations. Virtually every day was a highlight.
There were so many highlights – Seeing Victoria falls for the first time on land and from the helicopter and some rather impressive Lions in Chobe and Moremi.
David Poole and Samantha Leech travelled to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius and Botswana for 18 days in July 2015
There were so many highlights – Seeing Victoria Falls for the first time on land and from the helicopter, African wild dogs (very rare) and some rather impressive lions in Chobe and Moremi. Our guides deserve a special mention: Mike (Chobe) and Anthony (Sango). You can’t buy the memories that they gave us and their knowledge of the animals was incredible. Thanks for the suggestion about seeing the falls from both sides, you get to see this natural spectacle from completely different angles.
I heartily recommend Audley as a travel planner. The service was excellent and the trip exceeded our expectations.
Lauren's knowledge and enthusiasm for Vietnam and Thailand was amazing. She is a good listener and is excellent at creating experiences that were tailor-made for our interests. She was spot on! I heartily recommend Audley as a travel planner. The service was excellent and the trip exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect mix of experiences! It will be difficult to top this adventure in Southeast Asia.
Thank you so much for planning our perfect honeymoon when we had no idea where to start.
Thank you so much for planning our perfect honeymoon when we had no idea where to start. Audley suggested Borneo and we are incredibly glad that they did. From the moment we first contacted Audley, the service provided was fantastic, and special thanks to Natalie for rescuing us when we were accidentally locked on our balcony!
Audley took care of all the details. This enabled us to enjoy our vacation without worries.
So happy was I with my trip, Audley Travel, and Samantha that we are already planning a new South African adventure for August 2016
Martin James travelled to South Africa for 19 days in May 2015, organised by Samantha
As usual Samantha Sutherland did an excellent job of planning and the logistics. When you are on a tight airline schedule logistics become vital. My travel was very smooth. My tours were well done with much credit to my guide. I visited my favorite spots in Cape Town, went to the top of Table Mountain for the first time in 10 years, explored M. Sani Pass, wow! And had a fascinating tour of Durban, then to Phinda Vlei where I saw the big 5. So happy was I with my trip, Audley Travel, and Samantha that we are already planning a new South African adventure for August 2016.
Audley Travel made our trip stress free, extremely organized and an absolute blast!
Leslie and Brett Alison travelled to South Africa for 7 days in May 2015
My husband and I recently returned from South Africa, where we visited Cape Town and the Klaserie Private Game Reserve. It was a short trip so I wanted to get as much done as possible in the time we had. Our travel planner with Audley was extremely helpful and professional, and she put together a fantastic itinerary for us. Our transportation and flights were seamless, and all accommodations were exactly what we were looking for, and within our budget. Audley Travel made our trip stress free, extremely organized and an absolute blast! I highly recommend booking with Audley and will definitely use them again for future travel plans.
We will undoubtedly use Audley again, particularly Arden for her attention to detail and expertise.
Arden did a fabulous job on every aspect of our Machu Picchu family trip. She thoughtfully considered our children’s vast age range (10 – 24 years) and booked our hotel locations and guides appropriately. It was such a pleasure not to have to stress about all of the little details since Arden skilfully took care of transfers, pick-ups etc. We will undoubtedly use Audley again, particularly Arden for her attention to detail and expertise.
Booking through Audley and yourself was painless and pleasant
Laura Calver travelled to The Maldives for 14 days in June 2015, organised by Vicki
I am very pleased with all aspects of our honeymoon. Booking through Audley and yourself was painless and pleasant. You weren’t a pushy sales person, you helped find and guide me to something that worked for us. Very many thanks for this. It seems this is the way Audley do things, and for that I would definitely contact you again. It is refreshing!
Eric Nelson was the best!! He listened and made sure that we were looked after, questions that weren’t asked were answered before they came up - he took care of everything.
Susan and Scott Bishop travelled to New Zealand for 14 days in May 2015, organised by Eric
Our New Zealand specialist, Eric Nelson, was the best! He listened and made sure that we were looked after, questions that weren’t asked were answered before they came up - he took care of everything. We were asked what we were like, and our interests and Eric put together an itinerary for us. Highlights included touring the south island, the north island and the unknown adventure of it all. The scenery was spectacular and the people even more so.
This was a 'trip of a lifetime'. Thank you!
Aaron and Diana Ross travelled to South Africa for 24 days in March 2015, organised by Kristin
Audley made our trip to South Africa so easy. They booked all of our in country flights, our rental car, handlers to get us through the Johannesburg airport and two fabulous safari camps. Hillsnek at Amakhala was the smaller of the two and was a glamping extravaganza. Notten's Bush Camp in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, next door to Kruger National Park, was a little bigger. Both have wonderful staff and fabulous food. We saw lots of animals close up and have great photos to remember the trip. This was a "trip of a lifetime." Thank you!
