Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Seoul.

  • Arrive in Seoul and meet your driver for a private transfer into the city. After checking in, spend the rest of the day at leisure, resting and relaxing after your flight. There's plenty to explore on your doorstep and many Korean delicacies to try.

  • Enjoy a day getting to know the city's modern side with a private driver-guide. You’ll visit world-famous Gangnam and learn about K-pop, learn about the fascinating contemporary history of Cheong Wa Dae (South Korea's equivalent of the White House), and get an amazing overview of the city from N Seoul Tower, perched on a rocky outcrop in the middle of the sprawling metropolis.

  • Today you'll enjoy the world's largest indoor theme park — Lotte World Adventure. Your driver-guide will drop you off at the park and arrange a time for pick-up. Once inside, there are many attractions, including The Conquistador, the French Revolution-themed rollercoaster, a flume ride, and the Camelot Carousel, all covered by your entrance ticket, with an ice rink charging a small extra fee. There is also Magic Island, an outdoor lake park. The wide range of rides and experiences means it's enjoyable for all ages.

  • Travel by KTX high-speed rail down the peninsula to the southern coastal city of Busan. With a beautiful beachfront and lively atmosphere, it's considered the capital's trendy 'younger sibling'. After checking in, stroll along the beach and visit the seafood snack stalls.

  • Today, with your guide, you'll explore the highlights of South Korea's 2nd city — including the photogenic Gamcheon Culture Village, a collection of flamboyantly painted houses climbing the sides of a valley. You’ll also visit Haedong Yonggungsa, a temple that sits precariously on the clifftops overlooking the Sea of Japan.

  • You'll have a free day to explore the city. You could enjoy Busan's skyline (considered one of the most striking in Asia) from Busan Tower. Why not visit Jagalchi and Bupyeong markets, which include a notable fish market, to try some street food for lunch. There are many other tempting foods to try here: Busan is known as Korea’s culinary capital. Or visit Haeundae Blue Line Park, a 'linear park' following the dramatic rocky coast. You can hike the whole length or hop off and on the charming 'Beach Train'.

  • Fly from Busan to Jeju City, the capital of Jeju Island. You'll be met at the airport by a guide who will show you the sights around the city before grabbing dinner at the Dongmun street food market. It’s the ideal place to get a feel for the tastes used in Jeju cuisine.

  • Today you'll be visiting a variety of fascinating natural and man-made sites on Jeju Island with your guide. Explore volcanic landscapes at Manjangull Lava Tubes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 'Sunrise Peak' Hydro-crater and Jeju Stone Park. You can enjoy getting lost at the eco-friendly Kimnyoung Maze Park, see the optical illusion of Jeju Mysterious Road and enjoy the island's other wonders.

  • Finish your time in Jeju with a relaxing day at your resort-style hotel. If you do wish to get out and about, there are a variety of novelty museums and attractions in the local area, such as a chocolate museum where you can make your own and the 'Teddy Bear Museum'.

  • After a short flight, you'll be back in Seoul and can enjoy the last evening at your leisure. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
