Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac

A majestic presence overlooking the mighty St. Lawrence River, this landmark hotel has ranked as one of the world's great hotels since 1893.

There are 618 rooms and suites, some of which offer magnificent river views. The Fairmont Rooms overlook the inner courtyard whilst the Deluxe Rooms are larger and have a sitting area and views over the old city. The Deluxe River View Rooms overlook the river and are particularly recommended, while the Junior Suites and Executive Suites all have a separate sitting room.

Facilities are extensive with three restaurants, a bar, lounge and a superb indoor swimming pool and health club with eucalyptus steam bath. Especially recommended is the Le Champlain restaurant, a magnificent example of Victorian architecture and possibly the finest restaurant in the city.
