Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort is an intimate family owned and operated resort located in the middle of British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest. Guests here will find themselves exploring the beautiful pristine wilderness either on land, on water, or by helicopter. The resort offers a wide range of activities including bear watching, fishing, hiking, glacier tours, beachcombing, heli-hiking, heli-fishing, whale watching, old growth forest tours, First Nations cultural experiences and kayaking.
Guests stay in one of nine inter-tidal or stream-side wooden cabins, each offering breathtaking views of the bay or the surrounding wilderness. Guests who stay in the wilderness-facing cabins will fall asleep to the sounds of the cascading waterfall. During your stay you will feast on fresh coastal cuisine, and be able to relax in the cedar hot tubs while listening to the sounds of the waterfall, which supplies Nimmo Bay with all its green power as well as its sweet and delicious drinking water. Nimmo Bay offers guests the opportunity to unplug, relax and slow down to the rhythms of nature. Please note, a supplement is incurred for all helicopter based trips at the resort.
