Guests can visit the hotel’s modern art gallery, enjoy traditional Ayurvedic treatments in the hotel spa or eat dinner at one of the many eateries. Accommodation is spacious with plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings, making you feel right at home.
The hotel offers six room choices, with twin and double beds available. The spacious Deluxe rooms have a choice of king or queen size beds and are very good value for money. The Claridges rooms have large windows which allow plenty of natural light, and private balconies overlooking either the pool or gardens. With British colonial décor, views of either the pool or gardens and ample space to relax, the Club room is the next category up. Deluxe Suites have a separate living space and large windows overlooking the gardens, while Luxury Suite rooms feature a living, sitting and study area in addition to the bedroom. The Claridges Suite features colonial décor and a large, private balcony.
The Claridges is located in the center of Delhi, just a short walk away from Lodi Gardens, which are a great place to unwind after a long flight. There are also a number of local markets nearby selling brightly colored textiles and jewelry.
There are a number of dining options at The Claridges, the highlights of which are Dhaba, an Indian restaurant serving up traditional cuisine, and The Claridges Garden where you can enjoy lunch on the lawn in your own private cabana. There's also a patisserie and a more low-key restaurant used for breakfasts, lunches and informal dinners. In the evening you can enjoy a cocktail in Aura, Delhi’s first cocktail bar.
Facilities at The Claridges include an Ayurvedic spa, outdoor swimming pool, gym and art gallery.
The Claridges Foundation works with the Ramakrishna Mission Society to educate local communities, in particular women, on hygiene and developing healthy habits to combat disease and water contamination.
This is a popular choice with both the India team and our clients thanks to its prime position, colonial décor and value for money - a difficult combination to find in Delhi.
