Its grand, red, gold and marble hallways leads to large and elegant rooms which offer views of the gardens and surrounding mountains.

The property offers excellent facilities with a range of dining options from casual eateries with live entertainment to a sophisticated fine-dining venue. The luxurious spa is equipped with a large hydrotherapy pool, two Jacuzzis and a variety of other amenities.

Rooms

The 70 opulent, Victorian-styled guest rooms were designed to the highest standards and offer the very best in modern amenities. Plush beds, comfy armchairs and large windows, which fill the rooms with natural light, create an inviting atmosphere. The spacious bathrooms are equipped with Orla Kiely bathroom amenities and most rooms offer views of the hotel gardens and Killarney National Park. Superior and higher category rooms have complimentary access to the spa facilities, as well as a separate bath and shower in the bathroom. All rooms feature complimentary Wi-Fi and satellite TV with DVD player.

Location

The Muckross Park Hotel & Spa is located within Killarney National Park. Shady trees surround the hotel and spectacular walking and cycling trails weave through the extensive grounds and along the nearby lakes. Ancient Muckross Abbey and historic Muckross House can be reached by a leisurely stroll through the lush grounds while vibrant Killarney town is just a ten-minute drive away. 

Food and drink

With its original wooden floors, rough stone walls and exposed beams, The Jarvey's Rest has the inviting ambience of a traditional Irish pub. Casual dining is available all day with the addition of lively Irish music and dancing on select dates. The informal Monk’s Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon tea or a light lunch while fine dining is available in the award-winning Yew Tree Restaurant, whose menu is based around local Kerry produce and includes prime beef and fresh Atlantic seafood.
