Built in 1914, this hotel enjoys a central location in Rabat, and superb Moorish architecture. Ornate horseshoe arches span marble floors, and delicate inlaid fountains burble in an excellent reproduction of Andalusian pleasure gardens.
The 140 rooms and suites combine traditional touches, such as decoratively carved wooden furniture, with modern comfort in the form of soft beds and linens. There are two excellent restaurants, including La Maison Arabe serving traditional fare, and a tapas bar.
