The main sights include; the colorful Chinese temple built by Yunnanese immigrants, the Purcell tower built in 1936 to commemorate the 25th year of the rule of King George V, the Central Market where you can enjoy first-hand experience of local life and the church of the Immaculate Conception constructed in 1906. You can also include a visit to the botanical gardens on this trip. A little further outside the town is the Mahar Anhtoo Kan Tha Pagoda.
