Heritage Hotel
Heritage Hotel, Queenstown, New Zealand
The Heritage Hotel is modern in design, but draws heavily on its Alpine lodge inspiration. A roaring log fire in the stone reception area sets the scene, and this cozy ambience is reflected throughout the hotel. With an elevated position on a forested hillside, the Heritage overlooks Lake Wakatipu and has stunning views to the Remarkables. This superb location is just outside of Queenstown itself on the road to Glenorchy, but the hotel is only about a fifteen minute walk from the town center. The modern spacious rooms are spread out amongst three hotel wings, offering a variety of different outlooks.
The Heritage has an abundance of facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium with sauna and an excellent spa, and the comfortable Alpine ambience is sublimely in keeping with the local setting. In 2007 the hotel achieved Green Globe status showing its commitment to sustaining the environment through best practice.
