Dunluce is a purpose-built bed and breakfast property. Wendy and Roger McQuillan are your hosts and have drawn on the history of the family at Dunluce Castle in Ireland in naming this B&B. There are just four guest rooms, all on one floor and each with en suite facilities and views of the lake. Guests can enjoy the comfort of the lounge area in the dining room, giving the property an intimate and friendly feel. For those traveling in style, helicopter landings on the lawn are possible.
There are just four guest rooms at Dunluce; the Stuart room has one super king or two queen beds and a shower in the en suite, the Murchison and Franklin rooms each have a king bed and a shower in their en suite and the deluxe Kepler room features a super king bed, deep double spa bath and separate shower. Each room is light and sunny and has been designed to maximize views and provide guests with a calming ambiance.
Dunluce is ideally located just outside Te Anau town and looks out across fields to Lake Te Anau and the mountains of Fiordland. The town is a five minute drive or twenty five minute stroll away through the suburbs.
A delicious and extensive homemade breakfast is served in the sunny dining area, or outside, if the Fiordland weather permits. In the evenings it is a short drive or a 25 minute stroll to the center of Te Anau, where there are several good restaurants.
Dunluce features a refreshment area, where guests can make a drink and nibble on some of Wendy’s homemade treats throughout their stay. The B&B also provides a guest laptop and complimentary Wi-Fi, off-road parking and complimentary laundry facilities. Your hosts have a wealth of knowledge about the area and can advise guests on suitable activities and walks.
The Stuart room is equipped for disabled access and wheelchair access is available throughout the communal areas.

Doubtful Sound Overnight Cruise
Once on board the Fiordland Navigator you will cruise through hidden waterways where bottlenose dolphins are frequently seen playing and riding the waves under the bows, fur seals bask on outcrops around the fiord, and at times the rarest penguins in the world can be observed.
Milford Sound Nature Cruise
Once in Milford you will board the Milford Mariner for a nature cruise of two and a half hours which leads you the full length of the sound and into the Tasman Sea.
Te Anau Glow Worm Caves
