The Delfin II offers a wonderful Amazon experience. The four and five day itineraries start and finish at the frontier town of Nauta (one and a half hours by road from Iquitos) meaning that you spend the full complement of time in the reserve and not sailing to reach your destination.
Delfin I, Iquitos, Peru
The Delfin is a classic Amazon River boat that was originally built in 1986 but after extensive refurbishment during 2010 has been relaunched as an exclusive, eight passenger vessel. The boat features four suites of 350 square feet each, with equally large 316 square feet private sun decks. Two of them located on the main deck with private Jacuzzis. All suites feature floor to ceiling windows, in-suite area and minibar with the usual refine and typical natural décor from the region. The top deck features a comfortable open terrace, lounge with large & soft sofas, big ceiling fans, an Amazon Wildlife reference library, a flat TV & DVDs and bar.
