On the edge of Mae Surin National Park, seven kilometers out of the town of Mae Hong Son, the Fern Resort is nestled in a small valley. Surrounded by jungle-covered mountains and rice fields, it offers comfortable accommodation in unspoiled nature. A small creek and well maintained grounds with rich fauna and flora make this ecotourism resort the perfect place to stay for nature lovers.

The 21 wooden bungalows provide 26 rooms, which are built in local Shan style and scattered across former rice paddies. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and hot water facilities, air-conditioning and a private terrace/bungalow. To let you be as close to nature as possible there is no TV or telephone in the rooms — instead you can enjoy the sounds of the surrounding jungle, the floating waters and the relaxing atmosphere. There is a restaurant serving three meals a day, a beautiful swimming pool, a shuttle bus to town and several trekking paths in the nearby area.
