Lucknam Park is a beautiful country manor, offering guests a luxurious stay. We love the impressive driveway leading to the hotel.

Rooms

While the rooms at Lucknam Park reflect the historic nature of the hotel, with antique furniture and muted tones, they also provide what you’d expect from a modern luxurious property. All the rooms have free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as Bose sound systems and iPod docks. Interconnecting rooms and extra beds are also available for families, on request.

Location

A 30-minute drive from Bath, Lucknam Park is an ideal base for exploring Bath and the Cotswolds. On a day out, you can also reach two of the UK’s most important ancient sites: Stonehenge and the Avebury stone circle.

Food and drink

The Park restaurant serves a Michelin-starred menu from chef Hywel Jones. Ingredients are locally sourced from organic producers or picked from the hotel’s extensive kitchen garden. For a more relaxed dining experience, The Brasserie is the hotel’s all-day restaurant. Afternoon tea is also available, as well as cocktails and canapés in the drawing room.

Families

Lucknam Park is very welcoming to families, with special facilities just to cater for its younger guests. Children can take advantage of indoor and outdoor board games, an outdoor children’s play area, and walking and running trails through the park. The spa and restaurants also keep younger guests in mind with special treatments and menus. The hotel also offers a nanny service, which can be booked in advance.

The spa facilities at Lucknam Park include the 20 m (66 ft) indoor pool, a hydrotherapy pool and an outdoor saltwater plunge pool. There are eight treatment rooms where you can enjoy a range of therapeutic treatments. There are also special treatments just for younger guests, like mini facials. The spa also offers manicures, pedicures and hairdressing. The hotel runs pilates and yoga classes, and can arrange tennis lessons. Complimentary bicycles are provided to explore the grounds.
