Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Upon arrival into London Heathrow Airport, you'll be met and driven an hour north to Oxford. In the afternoon, your private driver will bring you to Blenheim Palace to tour the palace and surrounding grounds. Enjoy a relaxing evening cruise along the River Thames before having dinner at the river terrace restaurant.

  • Take the train into the Cotswolds to meet your guide for your shared Secret Cottages tour. This takes you round some of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, as well as visiting your guide's cottage for an afternoon tea spread. You'll return to Oxford by train.

  • Make your way to the train station to take the train south to London. Once you've checked into your hotel, you'll be met by your private driver-guide for an orientation tour of the city in an iconic vintage Mini Cooper.

  • Join a small group for afternoon tea lessons in your guide's centrally located home. You'll learn the history behind afternoon tea, as well as how to make certain classic items such as scones.

  • Take the train east to Canterbury. Here, you'll be staying within the grounds of the cathedral precinct itself. Meet your private guide for a 90-minute walking tour of this medieval city, learning about its history, most interesting buildings and gruesome tales. After, meet a cathedral guide to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Take the train to Dover, where you meet your private driver-guide. Explore the White Cliffs of Dover from different perspectives, before visiting Dover Castle and its fascinating military tunnels, which were used as a hospital, armed forces base and the headquarters for a secret operation during World War II. Your driver-guide will take you further along the coast to the pretty, ancient fishing town of Rye.

  • Spend the morning exploring the cobbled streets and medieval half-timbered buildings of Rye by yourself, before your private driver meets you to take you to the airport.
