Loch Lomond Arms

Loch Lomond Arms

Loch Lomond, The UK

The Loch Lomond Arms is an attractive 17th-century coaching inn with a few rooms above its traditional bar and restaurant. Situated at the end of Luss’s main street, it is conveniently located for exploring the villages of the western shore as well as the loch itself. The bar has a lively, friendly atmosphere and is well stocked with local ales, while the restaurant has a casual air and serves excellent dishes, with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients.

There is a fishing and game theme throughout the public areas downstairs, particularly in the small lounge to the left of the entrance area, which has been furnished with tartan furniture and fishing prints on the walls. The rooms are each named after a Scottish clan, and have contemporary decor with traditionally Scottish elements like a tartan bed throw. Each has been styled individually, but you’ll find pieces of antique furniture, light rooms and comfort throughout.

OUR OPINION:

We love the traditional feel of this inn, and the welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the public bar.
