Loch Lomond Arms
The Loch Lomond Arms is an attractive 17th-century coaching inn with a few rooms above its traditional bar and restaurant. Situated at the end of Luss’s main street, it is conveniently located for exploring the villages of the western shore as well as the loch itself. The bar has a lively, friendly atmosphere and is well stocked with local ales, while the restaurant has a casual air and serves excellent dishes, with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients.
There is a fishing and game theme throughout the public areas downstairs, particularly in the small lounge to the left of the entrance area, which has been furnished with tartan furniture and fishing prints on the walls. The rooms are each named after a Scottish clan, and have contemporary decor with traditionally Scottish elements like a tartan bed throw. Each has been styled individually, but you’ll find pieces of antique furniture, light rooms and comfort throughout.

We love the traditional feel of this inn, and the welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the public bar.
The 14 comfortable bedrooms are spread across two floors in the coaching inn. The rooms’ decor features classic Scottish elements like dark wood, flowery curtains and pillows, and tartan bedding. Large beds are equipped with hypo-allergenic feather duvets and fluffy pillows. All rooms contain an en suite bathroom and have free Wi-Fi. Additional amenities include an iron, in-room safe, hair dryer, and tea and coffee facilities.
Nestled in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and set just on the edge of the village of Luss, the hotel's location combines the feeling of being tucked away in nature with the ability to walk to nearby local shops and restaurants.
Food and drink
A variety of freshly prepared meals and snacks are served from dawn to dusk in the hotel’s bar, library, dining room, and sheltered garden. In addition to the relaxed dining in the public areas, there is a formal restaurant on-site. The Loch Lomond Arms hotel bar is lively with locals and guests alike, and serves 51 varieties of whisky in addition to craft ales from the local brewery.
