Occupying a stunning waterfront setting on the banks of Lake George, the Boathouse is an elegant and intimate bed and breakfast just a stone's throw away from the restaurants, beaches and shopping in the village of Bolton Landing, not to mention the 18-hole championship golf course at the nearby Sagamore Hotel.
Originally built in 1917 as the summer residence of Gold Cup winning speedboat racer, George Reis, the Boathouse has been meticulously renovated by its current owners, Patti and Joe, to offer beautifully-appointed and air-conditioned rooms and suites, each individually styled with creative flair and many with lake views.
This is the perfect spot for quiet relaxation, exploring antique shops, boating and water sports and exploring the Adirondack Mountains and Saratoga Springs.
Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favorite places to stay. To help you make the right choice, we give each property a rating based on its facilities and service, but we also look for hotels with distinct character or a location that can’t be bettered.
