The entry-level Village Side rooms offer views toward the town and either a king or queen bed, with some also featuring a balcony. The more tranquil River View rooms enjoy a peaceful riverside setting, with the ground floor River Side Whirlpool rooms featuring whirlpool bathtubs and king size beds. Meanwhile, the larger River View Deluxe Whirlpool rooms are found on the upper floors, offering a king size bed and pull-out queen size bed, as well as a private balcony looking out over the river.

Location

Overlooking the Napa River, the River Terrace Inn is ideally located just minutes from the town center of Napa with its riverfront promenade of shops and restaurants, and an arts scene centered around the Napa Valley Opera House. The Oxbow Public Market houses a farmer's market and cheese shop, and the Napa Valley Wine Train visits the area's wineries via vintage Pullman cars.

Food and drink

For drinking and dining, the hotel offers the relaxed and informal Terrace Café, with its enticing riverfront patio looking out over the Oxbow Park Preserve and river. It serves breakfast, dinner and light snacks during the day, as well as boasting a fine collection of Napa Valley wines.

Facilities and activities

For relaxation, there's an outdoor swimming pool and a spa, while the more active can make use of the inn's complimentary bicycle rental service and fitness room. An evening wine hour in the bar allows you to learn more about the regional wine varieties, and of course you have the Napa Valley vineyards on your doorstep to explore.

The property has made great efforts to ensure it offers appropriate accommodation for guests with disabilities, offering four ADA-compliant rooms with features such as bathtub grab bars, roll-in showers, wheelchair accessible peepholes, flashing fire alarms and telephone notification devices. Around the communal areas you can find braille signs in the elevators as well as accessible entrances and routes to the rooms, pool, fitness center, restaurant and reception.
