With oceanfront views, well-appointed rooms, a good size pool area and on-site dining options, The Cliffs makes for a very enjoyable stay.

Rooms

The hotel features three room categories, starting with Non-Ocean View rooms at the eastern side of the property with views of the surrounding mountains and foliage. Located right on the Pacific Ocean, The Cliffs' Ocean View rooms offer the best experience for a relaxing stay. All rooms are available with either a king or two queen beds, marble bathrooms and a small seating area. Furnishings throughout are soft and neutral, complementing a coastal stay experience. There are also numerous suite options for families and guests requiring a little extra space.

Location

It is a short three-minute drive from the center of Pismo and Pismo Beach Pier, but being an oceanfront property, it sits on its own bluff overlooking its very own beach. Easily accessed from San Francisco or Los Angeles, The Cliffs' location makes for an excellent stop for those driving Highway 1.

Food and drink

The hotel's on-site restaurant, Marisol, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a diverse menu in a relaxed and casual setting. Guests may also eat and drink at the indoor/outdoor bar area, which boasts impressive views of the Pacific Ocean.

Families

Families will feel more than comfortable in one of The Cliffs' many suites, some of which offer bunk beds for smaller children. The pool area is located right on the beach, allowing families to enjoy the sea and sand. The hotel kids' club also arranges activities such as arts and crafts, games and sports.

Honeymooners

Honeymooners will feel very relaxed at The Cliffs, either by relaxing poolside, taking a walk by the water’s edge along the beach or pampering themselves in the on site spa.

Facilities and activities

The outdoor pool is well-sized, framed with comfortable sun loungers. The Cliffs is also able to assist with other attractions and activities in the area and also run seasonal activities throughout the year.
