Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is located on a plateau high above the city of Tucson. Its 93 acres offer a distinct desert style of accommodation coupled with modern luxury. Guests can enjoy access to the hotel's spa, fitness center  ($10 per day), two 18-hole golf courses, two swimming pools with jacuzzis, eight lighted tennis courts as well as a bar & grill. Each of the 398 rooms come equipped with full modern amenities including TV and on-demand movies, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Most rooms also come with views overlooking the Catalina foothills and the Sonoran Desert. Nearby Sabino Canyon, the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, Old Tucson and Tombstone are available for day trips. Guided horseback tours of the surrounding mountains and desert can also be arranged.
