Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival in Rio today you will be met and driven to your hotel in a private vehicle.

  • Enjoy a private guided tour of Rio's highlights, including a trip by cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain, the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer and a tasty barbecue lunch in a traditional Churrascaria.

  • Guided by a local foodie, you will explore the street markets, bars, and restaurants that have been frequented by locals for generations.

  • Today you will fly to Iguaçu where you will be met and taken to your hotel. Your afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the superb views on the Brazilian side of the falls, right outside your hotel.

  • Enjoy a half day private tour of the Argentine side of the falls today, which offers spectacular contrasts, and the opportunity to get up close to the falls.

  • Today you will fly north to the city of Salvador in the state of Bahia. Transfer to your hotel in the charming historic centre of the city.

  • Enjoy a private guided tour of Salvador's key sights, including a visit to the All Saints Bay, the cobbled streets of the Pelourinho lined with colourful buildings and the Baroque church of São Francisco.

  • Free day to further explore Salvador at your own leisure — you may wish to visit the handicrafts market or experience a folkloric dance show.

  • Today you head for the beaches of Brazil's northeastern coast. A direct flight from Salvador takes you to Natal, where you're met by a driver who'll take you the rest of the way (about an hour and a half's drive) to Pipa. Your pousada is a lovely hideaway set just back from the beach enveloped by swaying palm trees. You'll have some time to relax and enjoy the laid-back culture of northern Brazil.

  • Take it easy on the beach or get out and explore the other nearby beaches in a buggy.

  • Continue to soak up the sun at the pousada's private beach bar or, for a bit of adventure, get out for a day on the water.

  • Take a private transfer back to Natal in time for your indirect flight home.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
