This new boutique hotel is located only 5 minutes from the entrance to the Tenorio Volcano National Park between the provinces of Guanacaste and Alajuela.
Totally remote and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest the 26 individual casitas are beautifully furnished and provide privacy and comfort in natural surroundings. Each air conditioned casita is 90 square meters in size and boast a private back yard, an outdoor shower and jacuzzi. The Kantala restaurant provides a good range of local and international food and dining here is an experience in itself due to its open wall structure which is surrounded by tropical gardens.
This is an ideal place from where you can explore the striking electric blue water of the Rio Celeste waterfalls, one of Costa Rica's hidden gems.
Please note that the final approach to the hotel (approx. 24km) is on unpaved roads and can be quite bumpy- approx 45 minutes travel time for this section- so please be aware of this if you are planning tours from the hotel.

This hike on the slopes of the Tenorio Volcano, takes you to some of Costa Rica's most striking sights, such as the Rio Celeste Falls and up to the top of the volcano. You therefore need to be in pretty good shape and enjoy hill walking to get the most out of it.
