Cardamom Tented Camp

Koh Kong, Cambodia

Responsible Choice

We've hand-selected a range of tours and stays across the world that go above and beyond to be a force for good by supporting local businesses, educating staff, challenging local norms, or promoting conservation and biodiversity efforts. Your Responsible Choice helps increase the positive impact of your trip.

Cardamom Tented Camp (CTC) is located within the boundary of Botum Sakor National Park in Koh Kong Province, in a very remote and beautiful riverside location. CTC looks to promote sustainable tourism with minimal carbon footprint, while the chief aim of the camp is to help protect the local rainforest from logging. By staying here, you're actively helping in that cause.

You'll stay in one of nine comfortable safari-style tents, each with an en suite bathroom. Each tent comes with fully enclosed mosquito protection and are all fan cooled.

Homegrown produce is freshly prepared each day at the camp's raised riverside restaurant, where a set menu is offered. A number of activities are available at the camp including forest walks, kayaking, and finding out more about the work of the local rangers in combating illegal poaching and deforestation that occurs in the area.

OUR OPINION:

This eco-friendly property is surrounded by nature in one of Cambodia's least visited areas. We find that the tented rooms are simple yet comfortable, and you can take part in a number of different activities during your stay.
