Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Bangkok.

  • Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be greeted by an Audley representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • This morning you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the train station for the journey to Khorat. On arrival, you will be met by your driver and guide and transferred to your accommodation for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure with your guide and driver at your disposal.

  • Leaving Khorat you travel to Buriram, stopping along the way to explore the Khmer architecture at Phimai Historical Park.

  • Visit the Phanom Rung Historical Park with your guide today. The Khmer complex was built around the 12th century when Angkor was still a powerful force in the region.

  • A very early start is required today in order to be at the border for around 10am. Here you meet your Khmer guide and your 4x4 Jeep. You journey east to the town of Preah Vihear with stops en route, including Banteay Chhmar. The rest of the day is with your guide and driver at your disposal.

  • An early start today as you take some time to explore the temples of Preah Vihear. You will then leave Preah Vihear and travel to Siem Reap with stops en route. This evening you will visit Phare Circus, which receives exceptional client feedback.

  • This morning, you head out to Pre Rup early and combine it with a visit to Banteay Srei to see it before the crowds arrive later in the day. Breakfast at Sala Kdei, a traditional Khmer House this morning. From here you journey out to Phnom Kulen and the overnight temple safari, the day is relatively flexible so please discuss in detail your preferred temples.

  • Day two of the temple safari and you wake to the sounds of birds at sunrise. Returning to Siem Reap you have the guide and driver at your disposal to explore any further temples.

  • Today will be a very long day. You visit Sambor Prei Kuk, and the roads can be poor quality, so the timings will depend on the journey there. Return to Siem Reap late in the afternoon for your onward flight to Bangkok and home.
