Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Montréal. Upon arrival in Montréal, take a taxi transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. The rest of the day is free to relax after your flight.

Take a private two hour transfer to Auberge Lac a L'Eau Claire in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. As soon as you have checked in the rest of the day is free to explore the Auberge and enjoy its many facilities. During your stay breakfast, lunch and dinner is included each day. You can also take part in as much cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing and ice-skating as you wish. Those that prefer a more sedentary stay can simply enjoy the indoor swimming pool or, for a charge, book a massage or a spa treatment.

After breakfast today you have a thrilling one hour dog-sledding trip to look forward to. Under the skilful guidance of an experienced musher you will feel the excitement of encouraging your own team of sled dogs as they whisk you through the silent snow-laden forests around the lodge.

Today you have a two hour guided ice fishing trip to enjoy. Ice fishing is a very Québecois activity and your friendly guide will drill a hole in the ice for you and teach you all about the correct techniques to catch trout. A cosy, colourful cabin will be set up on the lake near to your fishing hole to provide a place for you to warm up and enjoy a hot drink. The rest of the day is free to enjoy all the other activities and facilities at the Auberge.

After breakfast this morning your will be transferred by private vehicle back to Montréal. From there, board the train to Québec City. The afternoon is free for you to explore this beautiful and historic walled city at your own pace. Don't miss a visit to the Plains of Abraham to learn about the battle that decided the future of North America, see historic Place Royale, or simply stroll through the cobbled streets taking in the ambience of this captivating city.
