Secoya Lodge, Amazon, Ecuador
Secoya Lodge is owned by the Secoya indigenous group who are generally considered to be the wise and colourful magicians of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The lodge is in-keeping with the environment and the local culture and provides accommodation for ten people in four spacious traditionally built palm-thatched cabins. The lodge has a main dining, lounge and hammock area overlooking the Aguarico River. Rooms are lit by candles and biodegradable bathroom products are supplied.
