Rooms

You have a choice of several room and suite types here, with some rooms boasting their own sauna, and connecting rooms are also available. All are elegantly decorated in light, neutral tones with nods to the hotel’s 19th-century roots. Each room has an en suite marble bathroom and a wide range of modern amenities to ensure comfort and relaxation. Deluxe and Premium Deluxe rooms can have double or twin double configurations, while the more spacious Executive rooms — along with all suites — grant you exclusive lounge access with complimentary drinks and snacks served every afternoon.

Location

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Helsinki on Esplanade Park, with tram stops right outside the door. It’s just a seven-minute walk to Helsinki Cathedral and the Port of Helsinki, where you’ll find the Old Market Hall and can catch ferries to the old fortress of Suomenlinna. You’re also a ten-minute walk from the Design District and many of the city’s museums and galleries.

  • Lobby, corridors, and restaurant are all wheelchair accessible. There’s a dedicated accessible entrance to the hotel to the left of the main doors.
  • Accessible rooms are available and can be connected to other rooms for carers/family members. They include alarms at the ends of beds and optional fall barriers on beds, bathrooms with more spacious showers with handrails and emergency buttons, as well as optional shower chairs on request.
  • Allergy rooms come without carpeting and with allergy bedding. All rooms can be allergy cleaned on request.
