Almyra Waterfront Apartment, Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand

Almyra Waterfront Apartment is located on the Kina Peninsula, a scenic spot about 40 minutes drive from Nelson City and 30 minutes to Kaiteriteri, the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park. The property offers self-catering facilities in a B&B style lodge.

The Kina Suite has kitchenette facilities and lounge area and is perfect for a couple, and this can be combined with a second bedroom to make a more spacious two-bedroom, two bathroom apartment if required. Whichever you choose you will have sole use of the apartment and so can enjoy your own space, whilst still having the hosts on hand to help with restaurant bookings or local activities. There is a large outside patio area and swimming pool with sweeping views of the inlet. Beach towels are provided if you would rather take a dip at one of the beaches along nearby Ruby Bay. Simple breakfast provisions are included; or a more substantial breakfast basket can be ordered and paid for locally.

Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favourite places to stay. To help you make the right choice, we give each property a rating based on its facilities and service, but we also look for hotels with distinct character or a location that can’t be bettered.

    Experiences while staying here

The following activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences of the area where you’re staying. We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
