Félicité is a dramatic island of granite boulders and white sand beaches, easily accessed from Praslin, La Digue and other surrounding islands and is home to the beautiful Six Senses Zil Pasyon.

Covering only a third of the island itself, the resort offers a selection of one- and two-bedroom villas and spectacular three- and four-bedroom residences, dotted along the hillside and hidden among the island’s lush vegetation with views of the ocean.

When not relaxing around your villa's private pool, the Six Senses Spa presents remarkable views teamed with relaxing treatments and the activity centre is on hand for those wanting a little more action in their schedule.

OUR OPINION:

Six Senses Zil Pasyon sits on one of the most striking islands in the Seychelles and is ideal for those looking for an escape. Don't be surprised if you find yourself returning year after year.

Rooms

There are 28 one-bedroom villas and two two-bedroom villas plus several private residences. The villas each offer views of the ocean and the forest and each villa has its own private terrace with good sized infinity pool and 'Guest experience maker' butler service. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the rooms cool in the summer months and the bathrooms all feature a deep bath and shower with some villas also including an outdoor shower too. Telephones, TV, Wi-Fi and hair dryers are provided in every villa, as well as Bluetooth speaker systems and a safe. You will also find a small private wine cellar, minibar and ice machine as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Location

A private, 20-minute speedboat ride will transport you from Praslin and La Digue over to Félicité Island. Six Senses Zil Pasyon occupies less than a third of the total island and is the sole resort on Félicité. It's encircled by a number of smaller, uninhabited islands such as Grand and Petit Soeur which can be visited by kayak from the resort. Guests also have the option to travel direct from Seychelles International Airport on Mahé by helicopter, which offers wonderful views over the islands during the 20-minute flight.

Food and drink

Dining at Zil Pasyon is an experience in itself. There are six options to choose from including the Ocean Kitchen, a waterside restaurant dedicated solely to fresh and sustainably caught fish with organic fruits and vegetables from the garden. Lakanbiz is a hidden bar offering a different experience, tucked away in the gardens, serving home infused rum punch with a cigar accompaniment. The Koko Bar is located right beside the ocean, serving refreshments throughout the day. For fine dining, visit The Chef's Kitchen to watch the chef prepare dinner in an interactive experience or head to The Wine Vault for a private meal or wine tastings with the resort’s sommelier.

Facilities and activities

When you are not relaxing around your private pool, the main infinity pool or one of the island's three main sandy beaches there is plenty of activity on hand to keep you occupied. Visit the activity centre to arrange snorkelling, diving and fishing trips, alternatively, hop on a paddleboard or kayak and glide around the island. Hike one of the three walking trails through the jungle, take part in a cooking class or relax under the stars at the ‘Cinema Paradiso’s’ twice weekly screenings. The islands of Praslin and La Digue are easily accessible to further explore the Seychelles heritage.

Spa Facilities

One of the main features of the hotel is the iconic Six Senses spa, sympathetically nestled among the boulders. There are five double treatment rooms offering panoramic views and a wide range of holistic and beauty treatments as well as sauna and steam rooms. A modern and well-equipped gym is also available for use for those wanting some more strenuous exercise, whilst the open-air pavilion is available for yoga and meditation.
