Casa Lucia, Merida & Around, Mexico
The Casa Lucia is a small 1930s property located in the historic centre of downtown Merida, just three blocks away from the main square. It is also right in front of the Santa Lucia Park - which is the main site of the 50 year old Yucatecan Serenade held every Thursday.
The hotel has a quirky old European air with 12 rooms and 3 suites simply but tastefully decorated with marble and wood floors, classical furniture, oil paintings and Persian tapestries. The deluxe rooms have little view where-as the deluxe superior rooms do have views of the pool and garden. There is a restaurant/cafe, small interior garden with swimming pool and a large palapa.
