Le Farnatchi

OUR RATING: Deluxe

The location of Le Farnatchi is one of its greatest assets, hidden away in the very heart of the oldest part of the Medina, which is full of local colour and character. The decor is a mixture of traditional Moroccan and modern European design, and the focus is as much on comfort as style and quality.

The rooms all have a spacious sitting area, adjustable lighting and almost every piece of furniture has been specially designed and made for the riad in Marrakesh. The bathrooms have marble baths and power showers. The seven-metre emerald-tiled pool has a jet stream, and is heated in the winter months.

The Farnatchi Spa is the perfect place to relax, with marble hammams, vaulted ceilings and a menu of light lunches. The riad's restaurant Le Trou au Mur offers delectable Moroccan cuisine with a European style, alongside more modern 'comfort' dishes for those seeking a break from tagine.

This intimate riad with only ten suites, offers a personal and romantic setting.
