Recapturing the elegance and style of the 20s and 30s, the Eastern & Oriental Express is Asia's premier luxury train, travelling from Bangkok through the glorious, sweeping countryside of Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Carriages are lavishly appointed with rich, inlaid woods and brass fittings whilst the spacious en suite compartments offer great comfort. Dress-up for a memorable evening in the opulent dining car, enjoying the fine wines and delicious cuisine before retiring to the bar where the tinkling of a piano completes the ambience.
Stops include Georgetown in Penang, as well as the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai. The train takes three nights to travel between Bangkok and Singapore, though the journey can be extended with a break in Malaysia en route.
